Records stay with the people entitled to them
A care worker off shift sees nobody. On shift, they see the people on that shift. One provider can never see another's records, and that is enforced in the system rather than by policy.
Wellviax is a Cipher Knights product. Most of the care homes we service run on it — which means the software is shaped by real medication rounds, real rotas and real inspections rather than by guesses about them.
Cipher Knights is a UK technology company working with adult social care and children's services. We support care providers day to day, and Wellviax grew out of that work: the same problems came up in every service, and none of the tools on the market solved more than one of them at a time.
Because the homes we service use it, a fault is not a support ticket that goes into a queue somewhere. It is a medication round that did not display, and we hear about it the same morning.
Care services were running a records system, a separate rota, a payroll spreadsheet and a folder for compliance. The gaps between them were where things went wrong — a shift worked but not paid, training expired but not noticed, a notification due to Ofsted with nobody counting the hours.
Wellviax closes those gaps by being one system. The shift a worker clocks into is the shift that pays them. The care they record is the evidence an inspector reads.
A care worker off shift sees nobody. On shift, they see the people on that shift. One provider can never see another's records, and that is enforced in the system rather than by policy.
Care records are held in EU data centres, and the application runs alongside them. Nothing about a resident leaves that boundary in the ordinary running of the system.
Support is a phone number and an email address, answered by people who know the product. There is no ticket portal between you and an answer.
Ask us anything about the system, migrating from what you use now, or how it handles your regime.
